We’re thrilled to introduce a groundbreaking feature on PhotoDeck: Face Recognition.

This powerful tool leverages advanced Artificial Intelligence to analyze and detect faces in your images, allowing for easy searching of specific individuals across your collection.

It’s available in both your admin space and on public-facing websites.

What does Face Recognition do?

Our new Face Recognition feature consists of different tools:

• The Face Recognition AI assistant that detect faces in images: Our AI technology scans your images to identify faces and make them searcheable.

• Faceclick Search: Once faces are detected, you can search for images with specific individuals from any indexed image that features them, simply by clicking on their face. You can enjoy the flexibility of using face recognition in your admin space, as well as allowing visitors and clients to search for images featuring specific individuals in your galleries.

• Selfie Search: when enabled, this lets users take a selfie directly on your website to immediately find their own images.

You probably know that privacy and data protection are super important to us. The face recognition algorithm has been implemented within the PhotoDeck environment: it runs on our own servers and not by relying on third party services.

Who is this for?

This is especially useful for large collection of images featuring different people. For example, it makes it easy for people to find images of themselves among the thousands of images that might be taken at an event.

It is also invaluable as a Digital Asset Management tool for brands looking for images of a specific person in their backend space (for example all images featuring the CEO).
